How should I introduce my child to coloring or painting?

First, throw out your expectations. Supply a relaxed, fun environment for you to take a seat with them and discuss crayons, colors, and paper, at their point of understanding. Begin with blank paper and permit her or him to experiment with keeping the crayons and making marks at the paper, encouraging them to stabilize the paper with their other hand. Provide compliment with every attempt.
