First, throw out your expectations. Provide a relaxed, fun surroundings for you to take a seat with them and talk about crayons, colors, and paper, at their level of understanding. Start with clean paper and permit him or her to experiment with keeping the crayons and making marks at the paper, encouraging them to stabilize the paper with their different hand. Offer compliment with every attempt.
